Nice. I tried these things once as it looked cool. I found the actual process of it the most tedious thing in the world, and I felt like a 9 year old girl as I was essentially playing with beads.

I do however have the fruits of my labour (a piranha plant from Mario Bros) sitting under my TV. It serves to remind me never to try this ridiculous hobby again.

Keep it up though dude, I like seeing the end results.

Great work! Adrien Garreau (FF's cousin, who attended all 4 last CDMs) is making some and was planning to make a copy of each character sprite exactly like this as prizes for CDM 2014. Time issues prevented that project to see the light of the day, but if people like the idea, he could consider doing this for CDM 2015.
