What are your goals in MK8 ?

We haven't had this thread yet on this board, and now that the game has been out for a few months, we can start to give ourselves some more well-defined goals.

For myself, as I already had some WRs and even #1 AF briefly, I'm fixing fairly some reasonable goals that should be doable without having to necessarily play everyday, in order to finally balance my timesheet. I want to clear these before the first DLC pack releases in November.

Main goals :

- ~~Top 50 PP on every single track~~ (cleared)
- ~~Sub 59mn total time~~ (cleared)
- Sub 58mn30 total time

Bonus goals :

- ~~Top 25 AF~~ (cleared)
- Worldwide top 10 on Yoshi Valley
- Worldwide top 10 on Rainbow Road
- Worldwide top 10 on Bone Dry Dunes

(I think I currently have the best time using that weight class. Somewhere in the Top 30 on MW.) Top 75 on PP. If I went and played each track more than just to set a time, I should reach this goal easily.

Not in the near future. I'm at least 1 second off the WR (if not 2) even on my best/most worked on tracks. We'll see what happens with the DLC tracks though.

Adding Bone Dry Dunes top 10 as a possible bonus goal though. I think I'm getting this track now.

Zelda-themed tracks should be enough to draw me back in.

So maintain my rDP3 good position, maybe Top 5 at the end of this year (Top 3 is the current one) and get some Top 10 over the other tracks.

Cleared all of my main goals already, and I ended up performing so well that I ended up in the AF top 10 (recent inactivity from a lot of top players certainly helped).

I still have a few sub-par records of mine that I want to improve as to not drop outside top 50 on them(I see Mario Circuit giving me trouble, don't understand the track at all) and get under 58:30 total time, otherwise I'd prefer to focus on favorite tracks as well as other games for the next weeks.

Basically for the last 2 or so months I've been hovering from 11th to 20th ranked on AF, so my main goal is to finally break into the top 10 and stay there for the duration of the time I'm active. It's going to be a push considering the strength of the current top 10, much tougher than previous games because most players will join because it's only 3-laps and no flaps.

Goals: Top 10 AF
5 WW top 10's (3 Currently, 4th on BC, previously on rPPS [7th] and rYV [9th] )

Also at least 20k VR. I'm at 11500 now.
