Food and health!

Food is part of our daily lives, its only natural we take a bit of interest in it!

I'll be the first to say I love fettuccine alfredo. My favourite kind will always be chicken, although seafood is a close second. Have it with tomato, broccoli, green and red peppers with a bit of parsley sprinkled on and it's easily one of my favourite dishes while being fairly easy to make.

Talk about favourite dishes, what you had to eat for breakfast / lunch / dinner / dessert, or even some recipe that you really enjoy. Even better, if you know any good healthy meals, be sure to mention it! Healthy food is a good start to a healthy life after all.

Pomegranates and artichokes are really healthy, and extremely delicious. I always enjoy a good, ripe peach. Cut it down the middle with a knife, twist the two halves apart, excise the pit, and enjoy. I also like peaches because they kind of look like vaginas.

Penne a la vodka is a crowd-pleaser. Who doesn't love it? A nicely baked loaf of bread is nice as well. Cantaloupe and honeydew, mmmm. Gotta love udon noodles as well. Rice loaded with soy sauce, scrumptious. Ham and swiss panini from starbucks, hell yeah. Their chicken Santa Fe is really tasty as well.

Now I'm hungry.

My diet would kill people too.

I basically eat no fruits or vegetables at all. My diet generally consists of meat, cheese, starch, and junk food.

I eat taco salads on a fairly regular basis. Seasoned ground turkey, fresh jalapenos, onions, cilantro, chihuahua cheese (sometimes), and a plethora of hot sauce. I am a hot sauce fiend...  Smiley

Big fan of pastas as well. Home made pizza is great. Burgers as well. I enjoy almost everything especially fresh fruits and veggies!

Breakfast is a bit more boring I guess but I do enjoy pancakes with fruits or egg, bacon etc. My grandmother bake her own bread and it's delicious! I do one from time to time but it's not close to being as good (still better than whatever I can buy though)

Dessert? Yes please! Cakes!  Smiley All the sweets! wheeeeee!!!  Cheesy

I love food. I generally try to eat healthy, (get in those nutrients) but most people who see what I eat would probably say I have a pretty unhealthy diet lol. I'm pretty addicted to McDonald, and will eat that like 3-4 times a week. I also drink a lot of sugary energy drinks and candies sometimes lol (starburst ftw). Pizza is definitely my favorite late night snack, and I have ordered it in the middle of the night when I had the late night munchies so many times...

Yesterday I went to a local restaurant called Taco Sombrero and ordered 6 tacos and 6 tamales with habanero sauce.

Today I went to a Chinese buffet called Royal Super Buffet and got octopus, crawfish, shrimp, teriyaki chicken, mushroom chicken, potatoes, dumplings, and sushi.

Another favorite of mine is Whataburger: I get the Triple Meat with everything on it (except bacon) with large fries and a large drink. Everything that Europeans picture when they think of American fast food portions... and more.  Cheesy

Hey, I'll eat what I want. If I can't, life isn't worth living.  Smiley

Currently in my collection: Blair's After Death, Dave's Gourmet Insanity Sauce (probably my favorite), Mad Dog 357 Ghost Pepper Sauce, a few scorpion pepper sauces, and lots of habanero sauces my mother bought for me when she was in Louisiana a few months ago (too mild). I thought that regular Tabasco sauce was hot... back when I was, like, 12 years old. Still love the vinegary flavor of it.

+3. Sriracha baby!

Favorite food is mac n cheese. Love fish (that I catch), burgers, steak, pork, chicken, sushi... Pretty much any meat. Bacon-wrapped chicken is the best of any meat, lol.

For all other food groups, I eat it all. I was a wrestler, so I appreciate the fact that I get to eat whenever I want. The only things I really don't eat are pineapple and cole slaw.

South Asian cuisine all the way. Love a good spicy curry like nothing else. I like cooking a lot, made a pretty decent spanokopita the other week (Greek filo pastry pie filled with spinach and feta cheese). Reminds me that I need to try making my own pasta at some point... Also like growing veg and herbs in my garden but this has been a pretty fallow year for me. About the only foods springing to mind that I dislike are asparagus and sweetcorn, and even the latter I'll eat without much fuss.

That's pretty cool J-Cop, I love the occasional tuna melt.

I start the day with a 12oz Coke and a stick of gum, breakfast is a 32oz soda and a bag of chips.  Usually it's 6-10 beers when I get home plus nachos or some microwave dinner.

Another favorite of mine is Little Caesar's. I always order a Jalapeno/Italian Sausage pizza.

I also frequent Taco Bell. I think the last time I went I got 6 tacos and an XXL Grilled Stuft Burrito (beef). Other times I get the Taco 12-Pack. I miss the Volcano Burrito and Volcano Tacos.

Besides Royal Super Buffet, I also go to a place called "Panda House" for Chinese. They make great Singapore Mei Fun and the portion size is generous.

There's also a barbecue place here that I like, called "Slap Ya Mama's". I get half a rack of St. Louis-style ribs plus corn on the cob and french fries with extra spicy barbecue sauce.

At home, my preferred meal is the Hungry-Man Boneless Fried Chicken dinner. Great for trying out new hot sauces. In fact it's actually what I use most of my hot sauce for. Sometimes I get Classic Fried Chicken (with bones) for a change of pace. And last week I was eating Banquet's chicken nugget dinners (three at a time-- they're only about 7 oz. apiece).

Less often, I eat Chef Boyardee Spaghetti & Meatballs (typically two 15-oz. cans) or Chunky soup. I also keep plenty of ramen noodles on hand for when I don't feel like preparing a full meal, or when I'm hungry enough that a TV dinner alone won't fill me. Vienna sausages are another snack of choice, with Prairie Belt being my favorite brand.

I seldom go to McDonald's, Hardee's, Krystal, Sonic, Checkers, Burger King, Dairy Queen, or Wendy's because Whataburger makes the best hamburgers (though on rare occasion, I'll crave the so-called "Big" Mac and its "special sauce"). I wish we had Jack In The Box in Mississippi!

Every now and again I go to Subway. It's always a double-meat footlong for me, typically Spicy Italian but more recently I had been ordering Sriracha Steak.

Nicholas, you would be much better off getting some proper chicken breasts and seasoning/breading and frying them yourself, some real potatoes to make a good mash and fresh corn to grill, and as for that brownie...

I don't eat the brownie, actually. Also the mashed potatoes always turn out cold (or half-frozen) and I'm often too lazy to put it back in the microwave after I've eaten the chicken and corn. So many times I either eat ice-cold potatoes, or throw them out... or I just wait 30 seconds for the microwave to heat them, depending on how hungry/lazy I am.  Cheesy

The chicken patties are delicious when you put Insanity Sauce on them (if you can handle the heat), and even the corn gets a good dousing of Tabasco sauce (something I've done since I was a kid, and I don't know anyone else who puts hot sauce on corn, hehe, but I really love it)

Not much of a TV dinner person, are you Molly? I guess they aren't as popular "across the pond". Cheesy
Or maybe they just don't sell Hungry Man in your neck of the woods.

But it makes for a nice quick meal at home for just $2.50 (Walmart price). Ramen noodle on the side: about another 40¢ extra. Smiley
