I can't remember how quickly stuff was found in MKW though, how long after release were GV and MG discovered? It's looking promising that MK8 might be lap skip free

Reply #5 - 07/02/14 at 08:37:46 The only worthwhile glitch in mkdd was discovered in early January 2004 (about 2 months after release) on Waluigi stadium. The first major glitch in MKW was GV and was discovered on June 1st, 2008, under 2 months after the release. I'm guessing we'll find some small sc's either in late July or early August.

MKDS is lap-skip proof. Worst glitches are on RR.
MKWii is weird, no idea how they managed to let the lap-skip glitch go.
Not much into MK7, but isn't the only big glitch where lakitu puts you further than you should be?
MK8 looks like it's going to not have any major skips. Lakitu picks you up much sooner than in previous games, and they seem to have pretty well closed up everything.

Yea, the only other SC's currently are where you pass through walls, like rDC, rMT, and NBC. That's the more likely SC method for M8, imo
