the main reasons that flaps aren't included are that

1. Nintendo doesn't track them anymore.

2. it would be hard with courses such as mount wario and retro rainbow road, because we would then need to designate a split in which we use for the flap.

3. it would also be stupid when coins are included.

The only way i could see it working is if you made it a challenge where you have to start with 0 coins going into a lap

We just follow what nintendo gives us. If the game doesn't even save flaps, how are we ever supposed to for example proof check them? MK7 didn't have flaps, so their player page doesn't include flaps in neither their Site Records or AF rankings. Also, please refrain from constantly making new topics, when there already is a perfectly viable topic where you could post your thoughts.

But yea, as Nintendo doesn't track them, it's kinda pointless.
