I remember when mkw launched with online ranking, some players and I played with nickname mkwpp.com so when we get some time in top 10, players from around the world will see it and visit the website.

With MK8 we don't need to change our nicknames because we can make a post with miiverse when beating a top 10. But is that allowed in miiserve, post website URLs?

Maybe someone could make mk8pp.com

And is there any ETA to finish the website? Wink

The moderation policy on Miiverse is known to be harsh. A long time ago I put my YouTube channel URL in my profile comment and it got moderated. You can find a lot of similar stories on the Internet:

Though, I've seen plenty of people with URLs in their profile comments. So no, it's not allowed; if you do put advertisements in your profile, just hope you won't get caught.

Advertisements of any kind are usually frowned upon. However the Miiverse moderation is somewhat dependant on where you're living (I heard the American side was MUCH stricter than the European/Japanese branches).

Not sure on the exact rules from Nintendo. But your LC regional time at MKW's launch was the reason I joined the forums and I'm sure many others first discovered the PP through the advertisements. If it's not against any Nintendo rules (so the times stay on the charts) I think it's a very good idea for recruitment.
