I know that the Mach 8, circuit special, gold kart, etc are all the same stats, but...

Do they have different hit boxes? Some seems like some can ride on edges better too, but it could be a visual placebo effect.

Thoughts about this?

I think so yes, just judging by coin collecting in TTs. I prefer using Gold aesthetically but switched to Circuit Special where I think coin collecting is paramount.
