The feeling of being a world champion is intoxicating, and I didn't want to ever not be the world champion again. Then I realized it didn't matter that much since I had nothing more to prove and achieved my most important goal(s).

The first match has just started! If you still want to participate, you can, but you won't receive any points for matches that have already started (that goes for the random pool too).

Every match day, I will post the results of that day and the predictions for the next. In addition, I've put up a site where you can see all the results, standings and statistics. You can find it here

The predictions for the main pool I'll only reveal for the next day. What you are stuck with in the random pool you can already see on the aforementioned site, although I'll hold the predictions for the knockout stage back for the moment. For the mathematicians: I've used a Poisson distribution with lambda=1.2

For the main pool, please keep in mind that you will have to give me your predictions for the knockout stage later on, multiple times of course.

Enjoy!

And we start off with a victory for the home team! That is, if we are supposed to believe you guys. Even Zoran?! However, at the last moment, Scott stepped in to give Croatia some hope.
By the way, there are no matches in the group stage for which everyone has predicted the same winner. It is one of only three matches though for which only one participant disagrees with the mob. Can you guess which matches the other two are?

I should admit right now that I totally used the Random button and spent like 10 seconds browsing what it put out...and just went with it.

Decided if I tried to change any I'd probably just mess them up Wink

Five people with five points! There were four people though who were probably not happy to see Brazil score so late.
Tomorrow it'll be the first match that is most interesting due to the diversity. I'm a bit disappointed to see that no one thinks The Netherlands can take revenge on Spain after four years. Cameroon and Australia at least have one supporter: IsThatAGoodRNG.
