A lot go and pick Yoshi for racing even which is more worrying. Just cos he was pretty powerful at MK64.   I wish they had just kept with the heavyweights being the fastest for all versions. Lets see with MK8 i guess.

The article says that Donkey Kong Jr. hasn't been seen since the original SMK, but it's widely believed that the Donkey Kong in all the other Kart games is the same ape. Donkey Kong Country, released in 1994 (between SMK and MK64) introduced the character "Cranky Kong" which is assumed to be the original Donkey Kong from the 1980s arcade games, with Donkey Kong Jr. then assuming the role of "Donkey Kong".

But this was a great article that kept me reading. It was great that Sami and the SMK site got a shout-out. I'm surprised Leyla wasn't mentioned as well, hehe.

Always great to see SMK get a mainstream plug. We're all pretty proud about the community, and this will probably help to gain some new members/interest. Smiley

Tut tut, not enough researching mr. journalist.
