Question regarding players who have gotten WRs in more than one MK game:

If they don't go by the same alias in the MKs they have gotten WRs in, then should that player's in-game name be the one used for their profile on the corresponding MK or should 1 alias be used to make it easier to recognize who a particular player is (imo would be useful for people that know a particular player from a certain community to avoid possible confusion)? For example Earl from the MK7 community (http://www.mkwrs.com/mk7/profile.php?player=Earl) is the same person as the Jap who has rTTC WR on MK8 (http://www.mkwrs.com/mk8/profile.php?player=%E3%82%80%E3%82%81%E3%81%BE%E3%83%BC). Opinions would be appreciated. However, I believe it would still be nice to provide links to their profiles in other MK games they have gotten WRs in nonetheless, as Cole has already done in all the previous MK games available on his site.

I think it would be nice to have an additional column “Mii name” like on the MKWii website to prevent confusion, also greatly helps for videos. Since there are some Mii names without special characters, make it so if the updater doesn't fill it at all, it automatically copies the “Player” column.

also, I think Cole could make user-specific code to explain who a player is better, like maybe “むめまー (Earl)” at the top of the page or something, so I think that’s also an option

In this example, Mii name column would show the actual Mii name (むめまー) while Player would show the name under which this player is known (Earl). That's how it is on the MKWii page

Yeah, this is what I would prefer.

Updaters can edit these if you go to "Edit Site Profile Links". So you can link むめまー to his MK7 profile (Earl).

I didn't want to add a Mii name column because it would make the tables word-wrap on 1280px resolution.

Shroomstrat for rDKJ 2'09"487 by ノリスケ is 2-1-0, not 1-1-1. I found this out by downloading the ghost and watching the replay, he shroomed once before 1st glider and a 2nd time just before the line on Lap 1, then his last shroom on Lap 2 was used just before the line again. According to what I've heard the shroom counts the moment you use it, for example shrooming just before the line on Lap 1 would make it count on Lap 1.

EDIT: I updated the time with the correct shroomstrat just now. I don't know if the WR he set before (2'09"565) used the same shroomstrat or not since the ghost is no longer available obviously.

Wariuzzo messaged me on Skype saying that he had WR on WP with 1:45.132 after Twi. I believe him based on the timing of the Miiverse post:

I added the info from the ghost. To get a ghost from any player, just follow them on Miiverse and they will show up in the ghost list with an orange-highlighted Mii.

Recently, BC WR (2:05.343 by あんちょび) disappeared from the Top 10, and you don't get his ghost anymore by downloading the 1st time in the list either.

Maybe he improved his PR but it doesn't appear in the top due to the bug that others have experienced (such as [WEC]Giant's 1:56.475 on rSL). Does anyone know where to contact あんちょび/Anchobi? Please tell him to re-upload his ghost to Nintendo Network.

Although unconfirmed, it seems attaching a Miiverse post prevents this bug.
I will be uploading the video of 2:05.343 for proof.

He told me too, I know him well and I doubt he would ever lie about it. As far as I know his WR only lasted for an hour or so though.
