It's the nickname he uses (NNID, PSN). He is forced to remove the “y” because the 10-character limit doesn't allow him to put his team tag (AsO☆) and “manaphy” in full.

I have about ~80 videos of old WRs from late May / early June that I did not upload at the time because they were beaten before I could do it and there was a strong leaderboard activity. I will start uploading them today.

These videos will be set as “Unlisted” on YouTube and won't have “(Mario Kart 8 World Record)” in the title so that they don't appear in the Current WR playlist & subscribers' feed as they're not WRs at the time of upload. This is intended and not an unintentional oversight, so for those that have access to the MK8Records channel, please do not change this.

These old WR videos will be accessible from mkwrs.com as well as the tracks' playlists, for example:

Should he be labelled as JaK or Jak? Earlier someone mistakenly wrote Jak in a MK8 WR but it seems more consistent with the MKWii/MK7 nickname. Or maybe even change his MKWii/MK7 nickname into JaK ? because that's what he actually used from what I see on the videos.

also I don’t know if it’s relevant but this page http://www.mkwrs.com/mk8/longestlasting.php doesn’t seem to be updated real-time, I checked when Rocore’s WR was at 14 but it was given as 13 in that page
