I fucked up hop tech going into Lap 3, and I'm now taking the middle coin on the tree root Lap 1 while taking the left coin Lap 2 in order to get 10 coins faster, so this is still very improvable

Fyi, I just made a 37.208 lap 1, so I'm pretty sure 1:47 is possible with a flawless run. Edit: 1:48.438 1:48.593 splits were: 37.308, 35.734, 35.551. Immediately uploaded my .438 time without realizing I needed to snapshot with miiverse. Sorry

Can you confirm that the Peach / Daisy / Yoshi weightclass has the advantage here?

I raced against Marv's ghost with Toad and didn't seem to lose much ground to it...

The character choice on this course still completely confuses me...

I tried Toad vs. my Yoshi ghost and was able to keep up, so I'm not sure which is faster.

Mario seemed slower but could be faster with perfect lines.

Another option to consider on this track is using the Standard ATV. It has the same stats as the Badwagon but I think ATVs have slightly different drift mechanics than Karts. I could keep up with my ghost when I tried it, so again I'm not sure if it's faster or not.

I think it will be a while until the optimal combo is confirmed because of how unique the driving style is on this track.
