I use a new technique: braking on ramps to reduce how far I go. This allows me to add more hops before the first ramp on laps 2 & 3 (usually the extra speed sends you flying over the second ramp). I also use this technique on the ramp in the narrow section.

There's another new strat at the end of each lap where I do a trick instead of hitting the boost pad (I think this strat was found by JaK).

I guess it's time to change shroomstrats to avoid the lap 3 trolley. My best lap 2 is 39.426.

I'm surprised to see so much improvement so fast on MKS, guess it's cause new strats and stuff are being discovered almost every day.  Usually things get close to very strong for a while until a new strat is discovered, but newer strats are usually discovered at a slower pace.  Also, with such adamant players like Jak, it's not so hard to understand.

SMTing at the end after hitting the wall seemed to be about .2 slower when I tried it. I doubt it's faster unless there's a better way of doing it.

And yes, I think it's faster to chain the shroom with the SMT coming out of the narrow section. In fact this shroom might be faster than the regular one if done perfectly.
