How are you able to make your PAL game work? Do you also have a PAL SNES? An NTSC console modified to play PAL games? Some kind of Game Genie-like adapter for your NTSC console?

Does your TV display the game properly (e.g., in color) and does your game run at the correct speed? (which will be slightly slower than an NTSC game, a difference of about 2.54%) Do you ever have graphical glitches (like Stacy originally had when he first tried NTSC)

Making a PAL game work in the US might not be so simple.  Undecided

No, but I got an NTSC/PAL SNES cartridge converter and no, its not Game Genie.
I hope so. Its an HDTV and I hope I would get an advantage.

I think hes just planning to play for fun. But conveniently it can be put to good use, as hel be prepared for when he decides to come to CDM. It will happen some day Terrence yeh? You'll be done with College by then and can catch a flight over to join in the competition.

I'm playing it for fun and for competitive use. Oh man...I'm just hoping that I would finish college early so I can even go out of seas, to even participate at the  CDM...I am predicting the year 2016-17, Sami.
Anyone got an NTSC/PAL SNES converter they are not using? Roll Eyes

2016/2017 sounds good, put a reminder for yourself on the calendar. And definitely fly, dont go by cruise liner, takes too long.

Okay I will put a reminder on the calendar. I will try and not let you down! Hopefully, it'll be the next step for me to re-join the PP, Sami Smiley I'm also bringing all my Mario Kart games (including 7 and 8)
Even though cruise liners are a tad more safe than planes

1. For the infinity-ith time... don't worry about planes, they are about as safe as a picnic in the park.

2. No about the PP.

3. I don't think youl need to carry all your MK games, they'll easily get stuff here, saves on the luggage. Just come prepared, there'll be some awesome 1 on 1 challengers just for you.

I can understand why some people might be uncomfortable flying (it's just not natural to have six miles between you and the ground) but when you look at statistics, you'll realize that the fear is hardly justified as opposed to, say, driving. When a plane crashes and kills a few hundred people, it makes international headlines, even if many more died on the same day in car crashes across the world. If your newspaper reported every person who died in a car crash every day around the world, I bet you'd be afraid of driving, too.

I think of it this way: Madonna's still alive, Elton John's still alive, Bill Clinton's still alive... think of how many times they must have flown. You might be able to name some famous people who died in plane crashes, but can you name all the ones who haven't (and have flown just as much, if not more)?

You're probably less likely to die crossing the Atlantic in a plane than you are to die in your car on the way to the airport.

QED what Sami said.

Planes don't mostly crash man, they have improved so much since the 70s. More flights in the sky than ever and way less accidents. Trust me with the long haul flight, plenty of entertainment on the board, movies and whatnot to keep you occupied. You'll forget you were on a plane. Just kick back and enjoy. All will be fine.
