As for the two other spots in the roster, one of them is likely Birdo. For the other one in the bottom right it could be :
- Bowser Jr., would fit with the other Koopalings)
- Dry Bowser, has its own track (inb4 Waluigi Pinball yadayada but that's a retro track and not a nitro like Bone Dry Dunes)
- A newcomer

The small row space at the bottom will certainly be fit by the Mii like in MKW/MK7 (with maybe returning costumes)

It would be a bit disappointing if the Koopalings were the only newcomers considering it's already the bggest roster, so we may have another row/column added in (having 8/9 unrevealed characters at this point makes more sense) but don't completely bet on it. 31 characters is already fine.

For the short time they're scrolling through the different parts, you can tell some of the stats bonus, but I bet there will be hidden stats again like in MK7, since only 5 stats are shown in the part selection.

Disappointing that the gliders still doesn't change stats more significantly and that some kart parts even have IDENTICAL stats, but at least it seems there is a lot more of them.

From what I heard about the balancing I can imagine karts being better for the most part (maybe there'll be a few tracks with lots of turns where they're not), but bikes being more popular for at least wifi just because of the inward drifting feeling better.

Well, I can't say that I'm too surprised over Baby Rosalina and Pink GLOD Peach. I'm sure they'll be more unlockables in the game and can't wait.

I believe the person racing said he was using them both because they had 'relatively similar stats' or something along those lines. Not that we can take too much out of his 'scientific study' in regards to bikes vs karts.
