In the image with the 6 characters, the two orange frames with 4 stats inside each translate to Speed and Handle (handling) respectively.
Considering the color coding used in those frames, I assume those 4 stats under Speed are Ground speed, Underwater speed, Anti-grav speed and Air speed respectively (ditto for Handling).
So this does confirm a good bunch of hidden stats, even though from what we see, the speed and handling stats are the same across different terrains for the characters. The kart parts are most likely the differenciator.

Edit : First green stat is weight, it's the only stat we know Metal Mario is maxed on. Don't know about the others. One ought to be acceleration.

Edit 2 : Dang I missed the image with the kart bodies, lol. Definitely confirm what I said above regardless.
The submarine has the better water speed and water handling than Circuit Special/Mach 8/Sports Coupe as expected (and so do the Tri-Speeder and the Badwagon) so basically they're the new Egg 1.

it’s pretty hard to see, but I can confirm 重さ weight and 水中 underwater

the other kanji I can make out are: for supposedly the “ground” one ?上, 上 meaning above/surface/top/ecc.
the one with three kanji is ??力 latter meaning “power”
the last one might be 空中 which means “while in the air”

so basically the two on the right are underwater and air, the two on left I’m not entirely sure… too blurry to see

About the Mario Kart Stadium image : from my understanding the 1'45"746 is a time set by the staff that made the strategy book. The 1'59 is explicitely mentioned as Staff Ghost Time (スタッフゴーストタイム) while the 1'45 isn't mentioned as being a ghost (スタッフタイム). The kanji before could be 本書, meaning "this book" which would comfort my thinking.

Ok I bought the game too.
I currently have the first record on MKS.
I can assure you guys it's a world ranking list.

I'm currently the only one who subbed 1'43.
GL to the others who already have the game.
Gonna play some GP now.

Edit : Also; a thing I didn't tell is that my run grabbed 9 coins lap1 (w/ 4 coins at the glider lol). Didn't see that coming tbh.

^Inside drift bikes are definitely useless imo. At least for now, as it's slower than karts and it's really hard to perform something with it (including SMTs).

My time has already been beaten by far as someone unlocked the weird purple slick tires. So he/she is obviously faster than me and the time has already been lowered to 1'42"3 iirc.
Shitty run I guess. I'm planning to unlock everything afap and see if I can beat the time again before the official date of release. Tongue

Yeah I provided several details about the tops in Recruiting video recorders for a TT channel and MK8 WorldWide Top 10s if you are interested.

Yes, a maximum of 16 ghosts in your save, with a maximum of 4 per track, not including Staff Ghosts nor your own ghost.

BUT, unlike in MKWii where you could download 32 ghosts in each of your 4 licenses (32×4 = 128 ghosts max.), on the Wii U you can create up to 12 user accounts and each account has his own Mario Kart 8 save, which means you can potentially store 12×16 = 192 ghosts = 50% more than in MKWii.

I have not tested it because I only have one user account, so maybe someone else could confirm this. Smiley

Not sure it would be a positive thing if a faster vehicle becomes available for download and all the WRs are immediately rendered beatable... alternatively it could prolong the longevity of the game though I guess
