Yes it's possible to pause the game, go to Miiverse and post a screenshot like in regular Wii U games.

Can anyone do a video or something showing the save state feature, then we know for sure it is not feasible for TT. Once again a shame as it looks like a lot of people round the globe are enjoying the classic. For now the joining page has been updated, and a note will be placed on an update, for now players can't join with this.

Not a surprise since it doesn't pause the game using the original Start-assisted pause mode. Sad

This said I don't think there would be any high skilled cheaters playing SMK through the Wii U version.

Yes please, if you can post some vid up for us it will be useful. Then we have something to link back to as an example if anyone asks when trying to join. In any case wel just encourage players who want to join professionally to get a snes on ebay for it. Plus if they want in for th championships they may want to try PAL, at least if they are from a PAL region anyway.

I "bought" it. Well it cost me 0.49 €, lol. I had 1.00 € left from nowhere (I really don't know what I had this) and the game only cost 1.49 € since I had already bought it on the original Wii Virtual Console.

It's uplayabale on my laggy HD TV, I should give it a try on a better one like FF's.

If you intent to play it for time trial or GP records, you are better off playing it on the Gamepad, since it actually has less lag than HD TVs. If you try it in comparison to TV play, you should eventually feel the difference. I personally mostly use the Gamepad in some platformers if I want to do time attacks (and I may do the same with MK8), any difference in input lag usually puts me off for a good while.
