Hah, well in that case. British cheese so good. French cheese so bad.

Some places kebabs are too greasy, i like them a bit less than that. I do eat chicken shish from time to time aswell which is grilled so not greasy.

Egg and sausage and something bap is great for breakfast. English breakfast does rule!

While on the subject of cheese, i didnt like it as a kid cos of something they gave us (forced us to eat) in school dinners in 1987 (it was that bad i can still remember the smell of it today when they were cooking). Thankfully they abolished that rule and we could bring our own lunches the year after. However pizza cheese / mozarella etc is great and i started to eat that from when i was 9-10 onwards i think.

Turkish cheeses are the most rotten kind ever (that i've tried). Stay away at all costs. There was a local market we had to go to and it smelt like death in the cheese shop. I had to stand outside every time.

Thankfully we won't be having none of that at CDM Smiley

I think Flo has a good idea now for the meals we enjoyed from previous years, we will be well covered im sure!

I'm pretty sure he's considering putting some poison in your food, that's why he decided to take care of it this year.

Clarkjuice is the only British cheese that I would eat.

Just one week before caivs discovered the splices, I had a dream where I took flight over a field. A creature ascended toward me from the nearby forest. As the creature approached, I looked at it and said:

"Ah, the antelope of death. It's because I cheated in Super Mario 64. This will need to be addressed soon."

I assume it wasn't cheddar cheese. "Cheddar makes it taste better" indeed. I bet you wouldn't have griped if it was pepper jack cheese either.

People around here don't have 100 types of cheeses like you folks do. There's cheddar, mozzarella, pepper jack, and whatever McDonald's puts on a Big Mac.

Gyros, you say... we've heard of it, but nobody I know eats those. The picture I got when I Googled "Gyro" looked pretty good though. Reminds me of Chalupas (a Mexican dish).
Greek/Turkish/Middle Eastern food just isn't really eaten in Mississippi. Maybe other parts of the USA are different though. But just about all ethnic food here is either Mexican or Chinese (occasionally Japanese, but we lump all Asian cuisines together anyway). Some supermarkets have a very small section devoted to Indian foods, which I don't find bad at all. (Anyone had a chickpea curry?)

I'm about to have hot dogs with chili and cheddar cheese.

I never been very positive about the food at the CDM's, but I know we don't have a big budget and I like how we can keep it pretty cheap every year Wink

But now we can discuss about it and give our  thoughs I had to tell how I feel about the couscous or whatever it called in France, I'm sure you guys know what I mean..
I agree with Sami, it's only a week, as long as it's unhealty it should be fine, altho.. I love the ''bread-day'' where we got these big sandwiches Cheesy Wink

Fucking putain de la merde, can't wait for CDM2014 Cheesy

Then register, dude!

http://www.ffsmk.org/?task=register

By the way, what you call "couscous" is what we call a fresh salad made of semolina, corn, tomatoes, tuna, etc. — but I'm glad to finally read some feedbacks about the food, every year we're asking the people if they're OK with the meals and nobody gives his opinion. Thanks to this topic things can eventually evolve! I'm personally not a big fan of that kind of meal too, what I love the most at CDMs are pizza parties, hot barbecue nights, and that kebab frenzy we had for the first time in 2013. But I never had specific expectations for CDM meals because it's really not what matters for me when I spend a gaming week. As long as I don't die of hunger and/or don't eat stuff I really dislike 5 days long, I don't really care a lot about the food quality.

Probably the reason you never got this much feedback, guess we kinda think the same way Smiley

EDIT: off course I will as soon as possible but I might travel along with Karel and uberhot Patrick so we should book the train together Smiley
