I have to stop you just for a moment as you have got it a little wrong buddy.. Minus only the first time we ran one a few years back as it was a trial, myself and Leyla decided it is not right to enter any of the (5 or 6) casual tournaments we have run since, cos it wouldn't be fair to the players. A separate league can be done if we had a larger crowd of pro smk'ers, or just go to CDM if you would like such a tournament.
We run it for the visitors to the events, there is a medal and prize for the winner of that group and they are declared the winner of the tournament. Then as an optional exhibition match afterwards the winner can play Leyla or I outside of the tournament. I might give a stupid amount of head starts or something (which has turned out horribly wrong sometimes lol). Then we show some strategies including longboosts and item tactics. I never explained but that's how we have run these since the start of 2013. Pointless otherwise.
Back to the subject I am genuinely congratulating Terrence. Playing in front of a crowd isn't easy no matter the level; takes some experience. And if it helps, doing that improves confidence at CDM. I just wanted to know the variety of the crowd, sometimes youl get a few pretty nippy Koopa / Toad players.
We should all get on the NTSC battle on snesot, signups are on the site and should be messy but fun, it starts pretty soon!
