Out of the small places for a little weekend, NL would have to be a priority, though this year i dunno, but it will happen. And riding 2WD on Aqua Tunnel for 6 hours straight on Stunt Race FX will be much more fun there than spending 5 minutes on Tif's specific (and graphic) suggestion.

That's bollocks and you know it toots.

Can you beat Fenner in match race? When did you play him last on hamachi?

If you can then yes you'd definitely take on the NC crowd with ease Wink

Right before he leaves Snesot that is to say late 2011. Quite a while ago.

Too bad they didn't organise a Battle tourney, I'd have tiffed the shit out of it.

Oh come on, Sami. Dont rip on Fenner for winning an SMK tourno meant for noobs. You do the same exact thing with Leyla. You set up a tourno at a gaming convention, then enter Leyla, then rave about it when she wins.

Oh yea. I remember Sami bullshitting everyone saying Leyla beat SMK Liverpool champion like SMK was widely popular in every city of the goddamn world.

I have to stop you just for a moment as you have got it a little wrong buddy.. Minus only the first time we ran one a few years back as it was a trial, myself and Leyla decided it is not right to enter any of the (5 or 6) casual tournaments we have run since, cos it wouldn't be fair to the players. A separate league can be done if we had a larger crowd of pro smk'ers, or just go to CDM if you would like such a tournament.

We run it for the visitors to the events, there is a medal and prize for the winner of that group and they are declared the winner of the tournament. Then as an optional exhibition match afterwards the winner can play Leyla or I outside of the tournament. I might give a stupid amount of head starts or something (which has turned out horribly wrong sometimes lol). Then we show some strategies including longboosts and item tactics. I never explained but that's how we have run these since the start of 2013. Pointless otherwise.

Back to the subject I am genuinely congratulating Terrence. Playing in front of a crowd isn't easy no matter the level; takes some experience. And if it helps, doing that improves confidence at CDM. I just wanted to know the variety of the crowd, sometimes youl get a few pretty nippy Koopa / Toad players.

We should all get on the NTSC battle on snesot, signups are on the site and should be messy but fun, it starts pretty soon!

There were a number of games played at the event so I assume it should be a fair amount playing. Even if there were 20-25 around the competitors and TV that's fine. Bit like at CDM.

They used Koopa/Toad, and Princess/Yoshi. Sometimes Luigi. I was the only one who used Bowser and DK Jr. I also use Mario

The next time I goto these Mario Kart tournaments, I will make sure I ask someone to record the footage...I completely forgot Undecided
