The final lap is an anomaly...0"08 better than the rest of the World has ever driven (in flap attempts mind you)....are you sure you still wanna beat this?!
That flatboost defies the physics of SMK. I'm pretty sure you need more frames of powersliding to charge a boost, but the gamecode must be evolving or something.
I have to say corner 3 and the approach to last corner set up with the flatboost was one of the fastest I executed I think. So replicating the 2nd half of that lap again would be crazy. My 2nd corner of last lap was a tad weaker than my 11"23 flap last week but still happy and shocked.
For me I think that most shocking thing is hitting it on this day in particular (the 21st bday of when I first played it), and also having splits all over the place shows us that there is no end to this game. My next goal with the track is to go sub 57"75 (next quartile) and def try for that sub 11"20 lap. At some point, but I will need a psycho-level ending again.
I owe thanks to all you guys, as if we never had the site and community, challengers, the WR might still be 1'00"99 and we would have left it at that. Your sub 1'00" set new barriers and then more after that when we made it to sub 59. I think we owed it to the game to get that 57. It certainly does not end there though... I will be playing this again.
Whatever SMK goals you have or goals in life, job, family, other hobbies. Never ever stop fighting... and I never will. This is what competitive gaming / record setting has done for us, and taught us.
