SUPER MARIO KART - WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2014 (CDM 2014)

August 12th - 17th, 2014 @ La Suze-sur-Sarthe (France)

Hi everybody !

As some of you already know, I'm gonna be the man in charge for the CDM 2014 Wink

I recently got in touch and met a few people from the town council of La Suze-sur-Sarthe (where the CDM has been held in 2013), and we agreed about the fact that their great venue can be used again for the championship next year.
As a direct result, I'm very happy to announce that the dates and the venue for the SMK World Championship are already 100% confirmed ! Cheesy

So, here are the main details regarding that event (more details will come later, but I just wanted to let everyone know when and where it will be done, so that people can start book/plan their holidays/travel/etc.):

Where ?

In La Suze-sur-Sarthe, a city around 20 kilometers (12 miles) south-west from Le Mans.
From Paris, you can easily get to Le Mans by train (TGV --> 55 minutes), and get from Le Mans to La Suze-sur-Sarthe by train aswell (TER --> 15 minutes). Then, the venue is located near the train station (200 meters away), so you can reach it on foot

When ?

From Tuesday, August 12th to Sunday, August 17th, 2014.
Schedule (GP and MR might switch):
- Tuesday, 12th: Time Trial (evening)
- Wednesday, 13th: Grand Prix 150cc (afternoon and evening)
- Thursday, 14th: Battle Mode (afternoon and evening)
- Friday, 15th: Match Race (afternoon and evening)
- Saturday, 16th: prizes ceremony (around 2:00 PM), and free play (rest of the day/evening/night) or departure
- Sunday, 17th: departure
You can arrive when you want on the first day (let's say, from 11:00 AM). Every piece of help will be much appreciated to install the TVs, consoles. And you can also leave when you want (the later, the better !) of course.

Quick note: like in 2013, a large place for camping will be booked at the local camp site, for those who want to use it for sleeping/having rough anal sex with Sami. Smiley

Because the days off in summer are practically fixed for the last 3 weeks of summer holidays in our zone here in germany. And thats always around 20th August -12th September, and getting another week of before that is impossible, because we are only 3 people at our working place. If one of us is missing in this week the other 2 got a shitload of more work... I'll do what I can but I can guarantee you that those dates wont work for me ... Smiley
