Will Sami take #1 back just in time for CDM?
08/14/13 at 02:20:47

Hey fellas.

With my latest DP1 PR my AF has virtually gone under the 2 point barrier and this helped me to extend the gap between Sami and I to 0.500. According to most of us, this is a gap that should be almost impossible to catch within five days.

This said, rumour has it the Godfather of SMK will send some PRs in the late Sunday hours for the next update and reduce massively the gap, or even dethrone me for #1 just for the day before CDM — whatever the public pact that he wrote between him and I on this board.

So what's really going on?

Does the Godfather have a plan?
Have I pushed too far for him?
Who will be #1 for CDM?

Discuss. Smiley

MKDD is not technical at all

Gaming Guru Extraordinaire (© Sargoth) – SMK '09, '13, '14 POY, former #1 (PAL: August 2013 - May 2017 / NTSC: March '14 - April '17) – 80/80 M+ PRs

The feeling of being a world champion is intoxicating, and I didn't want to ever not be the world champion again. Then I realized it didn't matter that much since I had nothing more to prove and achieved my most important goal(s).

The Godfather always has a plan, however, because of what he posted on the board a while ago (that he would not be #1 at CDM, but you) I voted for the final option.

What happens after that is anyone's guess though.  Smiley

I voted the last option as well, I also expect Mario to submit a hat full of pr's/wr's this week as well to stretch the lead out even further.

My PRs are already known and I'm virtually leading by 0.525.

I don't think I'll submit more this week.

Sami's twitter status says "I have almost reached my goal, the final result will be revealed tomorrow."

I think he's just messing with your head Mario, hoarding and breaking promises on that scale would simply be ethically unacceptable, especially from the webmaster himself. Smiley

My guess is that he means a particular WR, most likely 57'xx attempt on MC1.
