The strongest by far is Flo's 55"93 on CI1, which is plain insanity. Smiley

I already reckoned my 56"6x as one of the strongest records previously.

Another very strong one is Pierre's GV1, as it requires a platform-jump to get it and no one has the balls to do that in a 1-try. Cool

All the other times are not particularly impressive, though I have to say sub 53" on VL2 is also pretty cool as a one-off. Smiley

I have a feeling you're gonna try and break as many of them as you can for the subsequent TT 1-try tourno at CDM Mario? Seeing there is no punishment for failing in the group stages anyway. Though I'm thinking that maybe there should be? Wink

Or possibly we should have a different category for 1-try records under KO pressure? If you can just gung-ho records in the group stage and succeed a few, it's still very different from the REAL 1-try mentality/reality of facing a knock-out when you fail.

It's a shame to be #1 on the Players Page with no CR indeed and I plan to correct this. Actually I think there are 15 I can beat in the group stage but I won't be the only one able to do this. If I can grab 2 or 3 of them this year I'll be happy with it.

100% true. Neo's 59"56 (iirc) in 2011 final is the best CR under KO pressure EVER, then. Maybe I can own the RR CR in these conditions with a 1'28"83 performed in the 2011 quarterfinals?

I was thinking that of the MC1 performance defo. The RR time is also very impressive yup. I think I have a few similar quarter final / semi final performances like that, but I'd have to look up the archives to see which ones exactly. Gatchan's VL2 53" in bronze final vs Sami was also pretty epic! Smiley

Many players are able to go with 2 PJ.

If someone manages to perform a 2/5 at the CDM 1-tries, they should stand up and take a bow. Cool

It will definitely not be me. If I managed the first jump, I would already have over 99% certainty of having the best time at the current CDM. No point in taking HUGE risks when you already reached that, unless you're trying to prove a point and set a record that will last 'forever'. Cheesy

Maybe hel remedy this easy one this year or next year.

Its hard to hit these, you can get some good ranks but each time you miss youl be losing little points that add to your overall CDM score.

Florent's CI1 is by far and away the best one there, maxed out one try indeed. If i run a 57 - 58 at home even im happy...

There is one more i dont have that i can beat here (if i dont crash, which i probably will). I wont say which one though Cheesy

Because I try every year to beat this CR and take too much risks (last year I was close to a 1'27"3x which I failed in the last lap). The two only RR one-try races I remember having played well were in 2007 (old one-try system, ranked 3rd behind Pierre and Karel when there were only 10 players remaining), and 2011 (sub 1'29" and top time in quarterfinals).

Actually there's one I think any top karter could beat with a twist of concentration, without taking any risks at all. Maybe we're looking at the same...

Do you remember what was the knockout time for that GV1 in 2007? Because your 1'06"74 would make less sense if there were a lot of karters still playing, then the slowest time worse than a potential PJ-failed race.

I could still pass if Lakitu put me on the platform, but otherwise it could be very, very short. In any case, you can't really deal about a real possibility to see someone doing over 1'15" at GV1. And the guy who did 1'17"49 (Al1) could obviously do better. ^^

True, GV1 is THE track (with MC1) where almost anyone can hit a better time than what a top player can do with a big mistake (failed zoomstart or PJ). I remember Marijn did a better MC1 time than Karel in 2010 (or was it 2012?) because he had failed the zoomstart.

I think Karel got stuck in a wall, it was 2010 and Marijn beat him by 0.02 or so.
