Demon, I don't think 35.9xx is possible based on the lap 2 I got. Having two more coins for 10 seconds does not grant you that big of a time bonus. Also, note why I said "semi-accurate." Because I have never come close to a perfect lap 3.

No, I do get a say. I'm not over .600 faster than everyone else for no reason. You didn't provide any video of this comparison, and therefore there's no way for anyone to accurately confirm this to be faster. You can't either, because going off of dissonant memories is not good for accurate comparisons, let alone for creating good God standards.

Because memories are not real proof, I do need to know how the rest of lap played out. So, it's not completely useless information. If your run took the last turn as tight as possible and ended up with high .1xx, then I know the strategy is slower. Vice fucking versa. I would actually know that you did gain .100 if your last turn was shit, but the lap was still high .1xx

^But regardless of this, I did test the strat. Why do you think I asked you what exactly you did? For nothing? You're fucking nuts. I did the side trick off the second ramp, and my 80% strong ghost caught up to me before I even landed from the second ramp. I was ahead of my ghost after the glider, and ended up behind by .060. It's pretty obvious that your weak ghost was unable to catch up to you, giving the illusion that you saved time. But comparing it to my ghost (that can be improved by over .100 before the last two coins btw), it's a way slower strategy.

Either way you look at it, by lap times or ghost, I can pretty much confirm the regular strat to be faster. And if you can't understand this, then you're simply a retard. If this really is .100 faster, then 40.950 should be cakewalk. But explain to me why I can't make the lap with this strat anywhere in 40.xxx? I tried this strat for an hour and was having a hard time getting into the .0xx, something I can do so easily with the regular strat. And my potential with the regular strat still isn't fully developed, while this strat I see nothing for.

I'm also thinking about doing the 2nd wiggler boost with a SMT instead of a MT (Pretty sure this is possible),would save more than '200.My bks lap1 is really good but I'm sure I can push it lower

The problem with MP and MT is that times completely depend on notes and wigglers. Coming up with balanced standards is impossible, and the God consequently becomes even more important.

Similar to what  ".Hahaae" said on the MKWii section of the MB yesterday, I think that the site should use American and Japanese languages. There are some talented Japanese players out there, like meiosis and the guy who subbed 1:43 on rLR. Shouldn't be hard, just copy and paste what you would normally type onto Google Translate, then copy and paste the Japanese onto the weekly news. Who knows, if the updaters agree to do this, we might see a new (Japanese) world champion!

In theory that is indeed a good idea. In practice, I think it's hard to accomplish. When you run a site like this, you should make a clear choice of what should be the main language. And English is best-suited to be that. While I would certainly support that the "Join Info" and the "FAQ" pages should be translated in other languages like Japanese, French, German, Spanish and Italian, we have to make clear that on this site, and most importantly on this forum, English is the used language.

In all honesty, I do not think that the problem for foreign people joining is language. If you look around in this very forum, you'll see a lot of people who don't speak English as their first language, who do not perfectly master the English language, but they are at least trying to do so, and we can understand them and communicate with them.

In my humble opinion, it all seems very simple. Those who want to find us, will find us. Those who want to come here, will come here. I fully agree that we can translate the introduction pages into a couple of other languages, but I don't think we would attract too many people with translating the entire site.

Anyway, Google Translating pages into Japanese is a terrible, terrible idea. Nothing would make sense, and Japanese people would just laugh at it.
