Normally you don't see it because it blends in pretty well. I didn't even know about this until I'd owned the game for 7 years.

Turn around after the cannon and go off the halfpipe and go oob. Youll respawn in front of the finish line. Drive backwards until you reach the hill section, turn around, and it’ll count the lap.

According to mkwrs.com, there are only 11 players that have held both the glitch and no glitch world records on a single track at the same time

According to mkwrs.com, there are only 6 players that have at some point held a WR with each of the “four main vehicles” (Bowser Bike, Torpedo, Mach Bike, Magikruiser)

I chose these four because I figured they were the most common at high level no glitch play. I didn’t include Flame Flyer too obviously because then there would be 0 players and that would be a boring fact haha

According to mkwrs.com, there are 8 WR Holders who have set multiple WRs with different controllers:
Tim: Originally used GCN, switched to classic
Unreal: Originally used GCN, switched to Wiichuck
Sword: Originally used GCN, switched to classic
Jazz Ahmed: Originally used Wiichuck, switched to GCN
Marco: Originally used Wiichuck, switched to GCN
Danny G: Used Wheel for one WR and Wiichuck for the rest, still a wheel main
Bryce: Wheel and Classic in between WRs
key: Originally used GCN, switched to classic

At the bottom right of certain pages of the PP, like the standards sheet, the Past Champions or the FAQ, you can read some text indicating when and by who the page was last modified. On the Proof page, we find this:

file modified 20080416 01:12 alexpenev

The last modification of the Proof page was done before the release of MKW in America. That's pretty old if you ask me.

And I was wondering why Penev talked about how the "Easiest way to capture a video is with a webcam or dvd-recorder" when I joined Cheesy

It seems like the special ghosts did exist after all (at least in Japan). On April 16, 2008, an LC ghost was distributed that was driven by Japanese actor/comedian Medaka Ikeno.

This is the only one that's surfaced so far. The ghost is unavailable unfortunately.

Edit: I found another one, distributed in Korea of all places, driven by actor/singer Kim Bum. I find it funny that this ghost is faster than the Japanese one

This ghost is available here (though it's useless without the ability to change drift)
