the longer a glitch has existed, the shorter the WR time seems to be

so for example you can see maple treeway glitch hasnt been done in several days in a pr

ctgp also says

This really doesn't show anything special, in my opinion. The trend stops at the 3rd glitch, and it doesn't really hold constant at all (DKJP, the second newest glitch to have a WR time, is way up in the front as the 5th fastest category). Either way, since there are only 8 examples demonstrating it, it can be pretty well explained by just sheer coincidence, especially considering that it isn't a perfect trend.

One could also argue that, since the most gamebreaking and simple glitches are the easiest to figure out, and in turn the fastest to complete a run with, it's no surprise they were found earlier on. As the obvious ultra shortcuts were all found within a few months of the game being out (GV and MG), the glitches that were subsequently found required more complicated maneuvers to pull off (think CM and MC), leading to them taking more time to finish a run with.

I mean, some of the tracks toward the end that take the longest were discovered almost the latest, too. I'd say it's a pretty weak trend, but still a trend nonetheless. You could probably see some sort of semi obvious pattern if thsi was graphed, but it wouldnt be pretty.

That still doesn't nullify the fact that non-sc wrs "were" valued much less by the community and "were" not tracked as hard, which is what was initially said regarding flap wrs. Point is, neither flap wrs nor non-sc wrs have as complete of a history as glitches

The thing is, the boost looks fucking strange. No visual affects but looks fucked.
