Hi everyone,

I don't wanna post something long as usual because I've been working all day long on updating the FFSMK site then starting to promote the championship everywhere I can. So here are the main informations you need to know.

It will be held in a French village as usual. This year it'll happen in La Suze-sur-Sarthe, close to Le Mans, a famous town for auto racing.

It will start on August 20^th and end on August 25^th.

The price fees for the whole event, for foreign karters, are 50 €, which includes participation, food and booked camping areas.

So yeah, this will be another year of camping like in 2011 and you'll have to bring your own tent if you don't wanna sleep directly on the grass without a roof.

Sami is expected to lose his 2012 title and maybe not to Neo SO THE SUSPENSE IS FUCKING HUGE.

Rumour has it that there is a swimming pool.

There's no street number but the venue is located in rue des Courtils (probably between n°1 and 10)

Camping is around 700m away from the venue.

Kebab is located 16, rue Jules Olivier, 348m away from the venue.

Camping fees are including in the subscription fees and Geo takes care of this, so don't mind.

Would love to attend, but alas I can't. The idea of having CDM at (well, at least near) Le Mans seems so perfect to me, I'm sure it'll be great. Heartily recommend everyone who has never been before and has the means, to go.

Sami didn't seem to know you'd be part of it, Molly, you should get in touch with him to discuss about trains and related stuff.

Swimming pool means there will be tons of topless chicks, so I'm definitely going.  I might even skip the SMK tourney if it conflicts with pool hours.

Yeh last time a saw Sami about a month ago I didn't think I'd have enough leave left to be able to do all of it, but my boss said it will be fine for me to take some days from my next leave year which starts in September (my leave year used to end in April but they just changed it a couple of months ago so everyone has the same leave period, which kind of screwed me up a bit).

If you take the same train from Paris to La Suze as Sami and his team, it currently costs a bit less than 80 € (for both tickets of course). I can book them for you but I need to get refunded immediately as I can't pay in advance for anyone.

I know a big-city girl probably may not feel comfortable with the idea of camping out, but it's something I've always wanted to do. After all, we humans (and our pets and pests) are the only creatures on Earth who don't usually sleep out in the elements. Aren't we spoiled.  
Hey, the guys can rough it, I think they'd love it if you can as well. I don't think it would normally be too hot/humid (like it would be here) or too cold (like it might be in Britain) there at night that time of year, I'd say maybe in the 60s F which is really comfortable for sleeping (and certainly fewer biting insects than in the southern U.S!) 

And I know Drew is really looking forward to seeing you topless at the pool...

...I get it, you're saving up to go to Japan instead.
