Hey, I wasn't sure where to post this, so I made a new topic.

I've just started playing again and I'm wondering if there is a compilation of videos for someone at around the Expert A skill level? Here are my times so you can understand what I'm looking for: http://www.mariokart64.com/mkdd/profile.php?pid=1073

Those are from around 2006/2007, so I'm currently aiming to get back to that level and hopefully improve.

I'll always be available too, and since my skill level is about that of high Hero then I should be able to help a good bit! Just watch the videos Frigz linked, but also watch some WR vids too just to get the difference. Whenever I started playing a course, I would search "mkdd lc" or whatever and just watch a lot of the vids that came up, which was definitely helpful.

The reason my timeset is half done is that I started it with 32 one-tries, and then went course by course getting PRs I was satisfied with. My controller has since then broke and I haven't played in several months, so part of my timeset is still dismal. Note that the ARR of my good times is Titan

If you're still active Astro, this is around my level, and i've been playing again since my buddy and i recently competed in one of those 16 race Grand Prix'. Just like old times XD

There doesn't seem to be a help topic, so I'll just post it here. On MCT, i'm wondering how much faster the WR route is, as opposed to going straight forward after the first bend, than right left right left. My level is high expert on this track, and I'm not using A-Tech. Is it worth adjusting my route at this time?
