Hey, I am playing SL atm and I really want to improve my PR, but somehow I can't get decent runs after lap 3 starts (shy guys). Also, there are several other parts I find hard:

1.: Triple MT over the snow: how should I enter this section? Wide, so that I am close to the fence, or a bit wide, so that I have a good angle afterwards?
2.: The ice section afterwards, should I use an A-Tech MT here or not? Somehow I get faster times with A-Tech, but it looks so much slower...
3.: shroomspot. when doing the Mt before the shroomspot, when should I fire the shroom?

Also, if you got any other tips on how to enter a section (e.g. the cave) feel free to post tips. I reallyneed them, want to finally sub that 1'15...

1. Idk, but If you're driving is the same as in your 25'260 video I'd say you are entering the snow too early. You're probably losing quite a bit of tine as a result,
2. A tech is a bit faster but it doesn't make a huge difference. The a tech on the ice is funky so Its just something you have to experiment with. It tends to make your kart slide more to the left so you have to position your kart beforehand to prepare for that.
3. Immediately after you pass the brown curb. but not before. Also, getting the proper angle here is also important. You want to enter so that your kart is in line with the snowman in the distance on the right.

Other tips? Post a video so we can see what your mistakes are. Wink

Hmm okay, seems plausible.

As for a video, it would be pretty hard to do a vid atm, especially one with good quality as my camera is fucked and I can't use my mobile phone for that because it has a weird video format (can't cut it)... but I am trying to improve those things you told

. Btw, I am going to get a capture card soon, so I will probably stream some karts in future.. hehe
