Blisters.

I know this seems like a silly thing to create a topic about, but has anyone else had problems with blisters playing this game?  It used to be OK, but now that the padding on my control stick is starting to wear down, I can't play this game for even 30 mins without getting a blister on my thumb.  Does anyone have experience with this, or can recommend some sort of material that I could construct a pad out of that would both prevent blisters while still allowing me to have a good grip?  Again, I know it's a silly topic but it's not like this board couldn't use the activity anyway.

If you have blisters, try to make your hands wet until they are really soft.. blisters won't be that painful anymore, and you can play again like normal. Only problem is when you take a break while playing, because then you will feel it again.

I've never had problems with blisters on a stick, I guess i'm pretty "gentle" on it. I did on CTR though and it was the reason I didn't return to it like I planned to a few months ago. Blister was just too awful. I don't remember if it also happened in mkds, but it might have. D-pads can be quite annoying, but luckily it doesn't happen to me with stick, heh. I guess you push down on it really hard?

Hmm, I'll try the handwashing thing, see if that helps.  And yeah stelzig I'm pretty hard on the stick, and at this point it would be very difficult to change the way I play haha.  But it never bothered me before the stick was wearing down, it's only got like half the original padding and it's pretty rough which doesn't help.

You might be better off getting another controller then honestly Tongue (or if you have some spares, switching out the stick)

I have another controller but I'm not sure I can use it.  My controller is something I'm always cautious to mess with, I don't want to use one that maybe doesn't MT as well or something Tongue

I have never had any problems with blisters lol. Have you tried wearing a band aid over it? Idk might help.
