You seemed to have forgotten that you complained about Omega's run the same way you are now, and his run was the reason for this thread's creation.
Rhodechill wrote on 08/19/16 at 13:36:03: It's definitely a bit overrated but not weak. Admittedly, I think it reached 1000 days moreso due to activity dying down ingame, so there was a kernel of truth attached to my antepenultimate post in this thread.
While I agree that's one reason many runs remain undefeated for so long, this argument cannot be used when evaluating how strong a run. You're judging the run based on what could have happened, instead of judging the run itself, which isn't constructive.
Also, don't even bother finding ghosts to compare. Each run will always be different from another run throughout the entire track, so ultimately the comparison is pointless since everyone already knows this fact. Someone can beat Tyler's run by .500, and yet you'll actually think it would be "overrated" because this hypothetical run took a few turns wider than Tyler's run? This is why the end time matters more. It's the fastest time in the world, and it lasted for 1,000 days. Big deal if it has flaws, cause every run has them.
So to refer back to this:

No, it has never been.
Btw, not bashing/hating here (since pretty much everybody over internet automatically assume that when there's disagreement). Just providing some feedback since I'm bored right now. It's fine to have a perspective out of the norm, but you're seriously wasting your time with your strict criticisms. You overdo it to the point of not showing the respect to the run and the work put into them. So really you've already lost since the beginning.
