As indicated in another thread, the Frenchies really screwed this one. So I think I'll send it back to Joe and maybe Karel to add to it and then finally to Guilherme. We'll see if he actually does his part or if we'll have another tumbleweed on our hands, lol. If we're lucky, this version of the Karties will be posted before the end of the year, haha.

Hello and welcome to the 2013 Karty awards show. I realize I'm a little late putting this together this year, but then again, we weren't supposed to even be here. Dang that Mayan calendar crap. Now that it didn't come true, I had to piece together some shoddy write-up. Luckily, I came up with a flimsy premise that allows me to not have to write the entire thing by myself. Anyway, this year at the non-NBT site, we gained 15 new members (10 PAL, 5 NTSC), broke or tied 22 world records (9 PAL, 13 NTSC), crowned two new world champions, and hired a new site CEO.

Now on to the show. This year, we are roasting one of our favorite retirees, Guilherme Arantes. Whether or not he's actually retired from playing SMK, we'll never know for sure, but now is a time to mock and humiliate one bad-ass Brazilian. Our first roaster and award presenter is news writer and second greatest karter ever (next to Terrence Fenner), Karel van Duijvendoben. For those who don't know Karel, he spends his days playing SMK, working in a molecular biology lab, and masturbating to the image of Donkey Kong hopping around Rainbow Road. Every time DK falls off the edge, Karel has to take two more Viagra. So without further ado, Karel van Duijvenboden!
