Hi.
I finally got my own copy of the game today (however, I had already had the opportunity to try the game in the last weeks).
Played GP a little to unlock a few things and then jumped to TT.
As a non-NBT SMK player, no-shroom non-ZZMT was the first thing to try!

I have a vid but it's so blurred that the time is barely readable. I have to say I use an old digital camera but it's ok to record SMK vids so is there something special to do to record MKSC vids which would not be too blurred?

By the way, is the page on speedrunwiki.com still updated?
And more important, do some people still play this way (non-ZZMT + no-shroom) or not?

Does it have a macro mode?

If not, try getting it in focus further away then get it closer if all you desire is that the times are discernible.

Also, no idea why we just don't have the records listed in the first post.  I might move that over later if things stay active.  I actually gave this a spin and it's a lot less worrisome when you aren't trying to jam in several zzmt's per lap, lol.

Good question, I just went by the site non-sc rules which let you mt anywhere.

Like he mentioned, spots like CL and SG would require writing a whole new list of rules about which routes are banned and how non-zzmt's are used.  You might find this topic interesting as well, much closer to non-nbt style driving.  It's as pure as hopping gets in this game.

In fact, non-NBT in SMK allows on-road boosts as long as they are "natural" (no zig-zag or things like that to generate them) so I'm not sure "No Shroom and No MT" would be closer to non-NBT than the current topic.
In fact, the closest thing to non-NBT might be the rules of the current topic... but on rRR! Wink

Easier to just ban them all than go through each course...Smiley

It sounds like this should be a boiled down version of non-zzmt where going off-road and delaying mt's falls into the unnatural category?  There are also some spots where you slide in a straight to build a non-zzmt.  Without any official guidelines, I'm not sure what this topic wants to be since zzmt are also included.

Nothing in this game honestly feels all that natural...Grin
