Congratulations to Team Free Noses for winning Season 1 of the Mario Kart Super Circuit Team Challenge!
Final summary:
Team von Flow more like team fall off the track and give up despite the offer of stronger items.

Team Free Noses pushes past team Etch-a-shock with their excellent performances in events 2 and 3, and Lafungo also gets close enough to Shock's time to earn the points needed for victory. Coupled with the double points bonus and no late submissions, they came shrooming up from behind to take Etch-a-shock by surprise, who had been going Usain Bolt 100-meter style this last week. Despite their scoring the max points they could, they didn't dominate enough over the competition to keep the competition at bay. Let this be an example that the team that wins is the team that puts forth the most collective effort rather than each individual's skill.
Thanks to all for playing this event; it's been a lot of fun for me personally, and I look forward to hopefully playing under a different host to experience it from a less administrative perspective. It might even be fun to have a free-for-all of sorts, where 9 events are revealed to everyone from the beginning, and all contestants have a month to complete all 9 challenges and submit their times; no teams, but the concept of quality factor per player would also hold. Anyway... might be fun if Mick or Lafungo hosted something like that. Feel free to use this thread for organized challenges if you think of one and want to host one. They don't have to be of the same format or anything.

I guess that's all. Cheers to everyone
