I understand what you're saying, but do you think you're going to have trust in someone who's been found guilty of hacking an amazing WR, and has another amazing but suspicious 'WR' up his sleeve? One your trust is gone in someone, its very hard to regain it.

I think we should ask for proof of EVERY single one of his times. If he fails to do so, we delete him. Remember Atki? He got asked to prove his Top100 times, but didn't, and therefore was deleted.

I don't want this to be an argument however I can't trust Toad at all

Toad's trust status is not a good basis to outright removing him from the site. WRs he had before he ruined his reputation would be erased for no justifiable reason. Do you not realize some of MKW's biggest cheaters still have recognized WRs under their name?

Now when it comes to his future records after his rMC2 cheat, it's no question in my mind that they should not count regardless of legitimacy. However, I already imposed this question some time ago on the top 10 thread, and those that answered showed a little more mercy for his deception, so consider that also.

Yeah, I know, in some ways he is not. We have to say "what does trustworthy mean now" in order to make a decision about Toad's removal. And we all have to come to an agreement. I mean, it would be fair if we do that for removing his times from the site.

That's a good point you made to IsaaK. I'm just wondering now how people came to that conclusion to have cheaters have a world record. Because there is so much we don't know about what cheaters have done in cheating in Mario Kart. We are basing our decision to let cheaters have legit WRs, because of the knowledge we have of when cheats were first released, and when a cheater first made a hacked record.

For example, Toad may have known about cheats all along, maybe when MK7 was first released. I know that is very unlikely. But what I think you're thinking is that we should use only the knowledge of when cheats were released and when Toad first claimed his first cheated record to decide which of his WRs are counted.

I think there is a possibility we should include that Toad has always been not legit, because we don't know what he is doing for cheating in Mario Kart 7 with his time.

What is your opinion on which WRs should count for Toad, Jacob? And can you explain to me a bit on how it was decided that even hackers should have some of their WRs counted? You seem to have information on my last question.
