I was told about it right after it happened and I'm 100% sure it was set on the 10th his time. You can also check the date on his 3DS at the start of the video to confirm it. That is what should count, not the GMT time.

Exactly. You can say the history site follows its own time zone. So adding the date from a different time zone just wouldn't be the right move.
