Nintendo wii Issues, Looking for assistance.

Hey everyone. I'm Kyle from the MKW community. I'll cut to the chase: My wii loads up to the health and safety screen, but does not show the A button to advance and seems to be frozen. I used the wii last night with some friends and it was perfectly fine. I try going this morning and the problem occurred.
I forget which wii version I have... 4.1 or 4.3 is my best guess. Anyways, I had riivolution installed for over a year and had no problems. The wii seems to be very hot on the sides; Thus, I tried unplugging it for around 15minutes and retrying, to no avail. I then searched for some videos relating to the problem on Youtube, to no avail. If you're wondering, I use a Dynex 32" TV with component cables, though that is not the issue. The wii itself cools off after having the wires unplugged for a period of time, and becomes hot again when it's all plugged in. The wires do not seem abnormally warm. I have had the wii for 5.5 years. I'm not sure if it's an age issue or if there is another solution availible. I haven't contacted nintendo yet but I may after if I can't find anything here.

Thanks for the help guys,
Kyle

Your GPU has been fried.  You need to do reflow of the GPU.  I think this service costs about $40.  Not too bad or you can probably pickup a new used console only for around $80.  If you get the full set, they're probably about $100, which means you can sell all the accessories you don't need.  You can sell the video, power, and sensor bar for like $15 and then the extra Wii remote and nunchuck for $25.
