Here is an extra topic for the page.
2-3 days ago I started to make a database with MKWII ghosts. The ghosts are converted to be expert ghosts and you can replace them with the original ones. Its an easy way to share,view,save and record (old) ghosts.

Replacing the expertghosts is possible with the Wiiscrubber or on the fly with Riivolution (Could maybe something write a good tutorial?), just replace the files in the ISO (Race/TimeAttack/Ghost2) or put them into your Riivolution folder.

How to add ghosts?
I will try to download as much as possible good and relevant ghosts from Nintendo Servers (2-3 month old ghosts in most cases), but you can also upload YOUR savefile and all the ghosts will be added to the database (Including the ones that you have downloaded on your Wii)
So if someone have some old (important) ghosts on his savefile, please upload it!

To upload your save you have to ectract it from the Wii using a homebrew application (e.g. Savegame Manger GX)

Its also possible just to upload your save to checkt the ghosts for rapid fire inputs

This is amazing work you're doing Maschell, you deserve a lot of credit

Just a question, why does my MT time show 2:17.349 instead of 2:17.350? It shows my first lap as .001 faster than what it was in my actual run which can be found here.

And also, would it be possible to find Wata-S' BC time? I know it's a bit old now, but if you would be able to find it I would like to record it (I'm actually interested in recording a lot of very old times that didn't have a video/had a low quality video in a higher quality). It would be great if you could find that ghost on the servers.

Edit: Noticed it wasn't just my time it does that to as well. It also does it to Jascha's old PG 1:59.761 (it displays it as 1:59.760 on your database).

I know, I also noticed the problem.
Its because use a function from XeR to "compress" the input data of the ghosts from savefiles.
So if you add a ghost via a save and add the same ghost from the nintendo server they will have a different checksum (I think XeR's compession isn`t a real compression,it just pack it as a yaz1 file) and I only check if the ghost already exist with the checksum.

BUT I added a function to hide ghosts
If someone wants to help me to hide faketimes or ghosts that are twice in the database (and is trustable) please add me in Skype (maschell20041) or MSN (maschell@gmx.de).. I don`t have the knowlegde to see all the fakers etc..

I was bored so I tried to do something in javascript and it ended in a little (but crappy coded) ghostinput viewer.

Just click on the eye icon next to the download button:

You can pause it, watch it a 1/8x - 2x speed. view it from frame to frame, go to a specific time etc..

Its still really crappy, and full of bugs, but it should work you don`t input random stuff...
(1:1:111 should be fine..01:01:001 may could make some errors)

It the script stops working, just press "start again" or reload

I had a bug in my first script, so all "old" automatic ghosts are broken. Thats the one I couldn`t get again from the nin server..

I entered my main friend code (0345-7068-3408) and some weird times were added for me. You can see my page on your site here.

I know that the 2:17.922 is an MT run I made (that made my top 5 times, was never an actual PR for me) that was made in 2010. The date shows 2009-08-23. Is this an error with the program you made to put in a friend code? The 3 ghosts that are weird all are presented for LC when they all weren't times for that track, and all lap times show 00:00.000, and the MT date was wrong, so I can only assume the other dates are wrong for those times as well.

Edit: I think Cole may have put in his friend code too and it did the same thing to him, all of the times being on LC. In addition, my 2:17.922 MT time I talked about also has the character as Daisy when it is clearly Funky for the track.
