Anyone else here affected by the derecho?

I haven't heard anything from anyone here regarding the derecho, so I figured I'd make a topic and see if anyone else here was affected by it. Roanoke, VA got hit pretty hard, but I got lucky -- I have power and AC at home, but my work doesn't, and anywhere more then 2 minutes from my house is still without power.

I heard it was pretty widespread, but I'm not sure how far it went. Anyone know?

I was at my friend's house in Montgomery County, Maryland (I live in an adjacent county), and the power went off and they still don't have it. For us, our internet went off but nothing else. Idk how it happened.

I'm working a small ~4,000 student regional campus that's removed like 30 miles from urban, central Ohio and they aren't supposed to have power back until Sunday.  Really it's mostly because the electric company is shit. I got mine back in like 15 hours with a different provider.

^Yea. Power seems to be back in a lot of areas (most of the residential/commercial area near my house) but my work is still without power. Not sure when we are getting it back, but I'm losing a lot of pay with only being able to work half shifts/not at all. My gas tank is taking a beating too -- been through 3/4 of a tank of gas in 4 days (a tank usually lasts me 2 weeks and then some).
