Was curious, so here.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qWAZD3oYrMY < Moonview Highway, Mander's second hacked WR, December 13th 2009. So his previous WR was about December 10th 2009.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qoC8Hj2KODY Mario is #6 WW on Mushroom Gorge, September 9th, 2009.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8Dz_ZZtCqM Cole takes RR (again), Mario is nowhere to be seen. November 13th, 2009.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eZWwJ0mZcEg Mario takes RR WR, November 21st, 2009.
I guess the hack was introduced late 2009. MG took time. Maybe his run as of September was legit, and he resorted to hacking for the WR. Maybe the hacks were available from as early as the summer, but Mario was playing the "game". Maybe his MG WR is legit.
Rainbow Road is far stranger. When Cole claimed the World Record (just a week before Mario had done the same), Mario was nowhere to be seen on the worldwide top 10. It's also interesting to note that hacks were DEFINITELY available in December, when Mander had used them.
So i doubt Mario's Records were set at a time when hacking was not doable. This fact, together with the lack of honesty shown by this guy and the discovered hacking, means you can't trust them. I'll reiterate; It's better to have times which MIGHT be legit off the site, than times which MIGHT be hacked on the site.
Edit: Jay is easy, he's never had a WR prior to a few months back. Isn't it shit when the long con doesn't work, Jay?
The TAS codes were made by me in April 2010, the real use started in July.
NTSC-US Codes were NOT made before 2011. Codes were released by RusoX(after Aruba gave them to him) in late 2011 or even 2012 so Mario could not obtain the TAS codes.
Therefore his only option for tools for older runs were: rapid fire(since release of the code) and slowmotion(since late 2011)
