After a very dedicated couple of weeks on my part this month, I have reached the point where every PR that is a gain on the charts for me will be cutting into what remains of Seb's lead: 1 AF point. Every player I pass on the charts is now especially significant as his lead falls into the 0.xxx range.

^ This is the good news for me. In 2-3 weeks, I have cut an entire AF point on Seb already, as well as scored several Site Records. The bad news is that progress will probably be quite a bit slower now, as every time on my sheet is within the top 10. It is really exciting and motivating to be this close though to the title of Site Champion.

I will update and post my PRs in this thread now I think, so I can keep a more memorable record of this final push to rank of #1.

Great work thus far Shock. Problem of course is that most of Seb's low scoring comes on individual tracks, like RBC3 flap, which you've obviously already exploited - now it's time to beat him in more head-to-heads. I think you can do it: you've already started exploiting tracks that should've been beaten a while ago with proper stategising and ZZMT use (RDP2 course, RBC3 course) and there's a few more I reckon you can grab without massive hassle (might be biased here but I think BC4 and RMC2 course are for the taking). Then it's down to the hard graft of improving every track again by small increments, but them's the efforts a champion has to strive toward. Do it!

I hope you will be able to keep this sort of PRing up, because especially I know how it is when you beat one PR after another and the next day(s) you can't do a single improvement, or come even close to your times. It's all about patience now. I know you want that title as fast as possible, but especially this feeling will cause you to fail... just don't aim too much for this, PR like you did before, without much pressure. I wish you the best of luck

Yes, I plan to just keep focusing on getting 1 PR at a time. Much like playing in the finals in a tournament, it does no good to think about how close you are to winning the prize. You still have to perform play by play, just like practice. And of course, I'm going to continue to try to have fun while doing all this overthrowing Seb "serious business" stuff. Cheesy

Got a couple PRs tonight, just a little frustrated with RVL2. I have crashed a couple 7"9x, 7"2x, 7"2x runs by hitting those ice blocks or falling in the water, or majorly slowing down by trying to go over a gap just a little too wide. Annoying.

RRR flap: 12"10 (#9 -> #5)
RVL2: 40"50 (#9 -> #8)

Haha, I kid. I just got a couple more PRs:

RVL2: 39"85, 5"00

Time to try to improve that BP flap. If I do, all my times will be ranked 7th or better. Then it's probably time to compare Seb's sheet with my own and try to beat him in a few head to heads where my times are currently close to his.

Edit: (I've now made a 60 standard cut since the last time the charts were zeroed, as well as passed 91 players for what will almost certainly be the last time I see a -1.xxx cut for myself on the charts. It barely feels like a year ago when I was making 10.xxx cuts haha.)
