Calling out all karters to Milan, Italy!
There's a live Mario Kart 7 tournament on March the 17th, hosted in a big comic convention and admined by the Italian veteran karter Iacopo Sorce (or Nai, or NikeXTC).
There's no entry fee for the tournament and there are prizes for the top three karters:
-First prize is gonna be a console (either a 3DS or a PS3, it's still unsure but Iacopo is pushing for the PS3),
-Second prize will be two Nintendo games (Wii, 3DS or DS),
-Third prize will be a Nintendo game.
Several Italian good karters will attend, so it's a great chance to play live with other great players.
The tournament is held by VideoGames Party, an Italian association that organizes tournaments for several games, and in fact during the weekend there will be about 10 different tournaments you can attend. On Sunday, Iacopo will be the admin of Super Smash Bros Brawl tournament, while the list of all the other games is still not confirmed. Based on past events, you can expect to have tournaments of Super Street Fighter IV, FIFA 12, Call of Duty... Iacopo will keep the list of games updated as soon as details will be revealed.
You can take part at all tournaments you wish, and each one has its own prizes to win.
Nonetheless, if you like manga and anime, you'll find tons of great stuff to buy.
The convention, Cartoomics 2012, has a ticket to pay, it's 12 Euros, or 8 if you print the ticket from the website.
VideoGames Party site is updating and will be available soon.
Cartoomics 2012 site is

I probably won't be there, but many good Italian karters will. It would be great to have an European MK7 tournament

It's the same place where we had the national MKW tournament last November, and it was awesome!
