I tried to send my first times with the e-mail address "mariokart7@yahoogroups.com" and got a reply saying that it couldn't be sent, because I'm not a subscriber. I don't subscribe to any of the others and e-mail works for all of them...

EDIT: It won't even let me post directly to the yahoogroup with my yahoo ID... what is wrong?
(I don't use yahoogroups so I don't really know what I"m doing anyway)

You should get an email to confirm your subscription, then all of your future emails to mariokart7@yahoogroups.com should go through just fine. Hope that helps

So I have to subscribe to this particular group before e-mails will work? I didn't have to with any of the previous Kart sites...

Doesn't subscribing mean all of the times submissions will be sent to my e-mail address? I don't need that; I'm not part of the MK7 PP staff. I get enough unneeded e-mail, believe me Smiley

Still don't know why it's saying I can't just post to the MK7 group. It works for SMK, I just tried. I guess the MK7 one is done differently and only allows subscribers to post...

It's OK though, I just drove one more track. Wink

Not everybody who is going to be sending times is a Yahoo member or group subscriber. EDIT: Just confirmed my membership and posted.

You probably have to edit some options somewhere. When you go to the group page, just search around a bit. I know I did it b/c the email spam was annoying as hell.
