Wiggler "SC" on TT ?

The question hasn't been raised yet, but since it appears clearly that it has or will be useful in time trial, we must take a decision very soon about what to do with the going-through-the-wiggler technique.

Should we ban it or keep it on our ranks ?

My personal opinion is that it is clearly a glitch as going through the wiggler is unintented by the developers and is similar to going through walls, but I also want to hear the opinions and concerns of other players. It seems to me that several players are trying to get a PR using this bug, so the consensus appears more ambiguous than for the lakitu SC's...

This poll alone won't make the decision, I also want to have a discussion with experienced players and maybe admins on that matter, so don't be afraid to vote !

I heard you could go thrugh the train in MK64 KD but it wasn't considered a glitch though.

I am not so sure that your statement mick is so correct here. I came through the wiggler once perfectly through his legs without toching him in any way so it seems to me it was planned to possibly go through him with perfect timing. Anyway i would support to ban it nevertheless.

Yes but glitching through the wiggler isn't quicker in mkwii, and it happens much less often.

Don't know if you guys knew that, but if you fastfall on KD lap 2, the game's running @~15fps instead of 60fps. It could give you an advantage for the optimal gliding trajectory. Ban?... The point is that everyone should think twice which things should be considered as a SC/Glitch. It shouldn't be the main goal to ban almost everything in this game - everyone knows how glitchy it is. I can't imagine someone wants to play this game in 2 years when there'll be 30 things which are considered as a SC here on the PP.

I didn't try the "SC", because I stopped playing the game last year, but it doesn't seem too random for me.

And I think it's pretty much a glitch more based on luck than anything...

I agree with this completely. I really don't see all that much use in banning something that isn't even that time-saving, either. It's not like people are going to be pumping out something ridiculously faster than what people can do now. And, I mean, what about the rCM glider boost? I doubt that was intended, and it saves a good amount of time, but it's allowed anyways. Banning something like this is, in my opinion, rather silly.

Happens consistently on BC1 after the shroom as well. Nothing wrong with it though, and it's uncontrollable anyway.
