Okay. I just feel like putting in a little extra input here, since I think everyone in this poll had a great year.
Michael Vogt:
I'm assuming he played the year through non-ZZMT. If that's the case, then going from well outside the top 100 to #30 is incredible, to say the least. 77 spots jumped, yes, but there are many places along the way where it's easy to get discouraged. Many places it would be easy to just stop - 5 AF points between players for example - and just take a break from the game. You know a dedicated player when he jumps these gaps and just keeps going, and going, and going... All the way to a rank of #30, where advancing non-ZZMT starts to get tough. I applaud this guy.
Nicola Torre:
I'm also assuming he played this year non-ZZMT. I can appreciate where he's coming from too. On the table that we have, his move doesn't seem as impressive, but for being on the site for a good long while, he made a great advance nonetheless. I checked, and if I'm not mistaken, he's right next to Cole Gilbert and Nicholas Harvey. I remember the climb to these places - they used to be around #20 at the start of the year. So I feel in a way that Nicola's climb is even more impressive. He's also been an inspiration to the other karters year round, so I think he's well-deserving to be on the nominations.
Christian Wild:
What can I say. He is absolutely crazy. I remember at the beginning of the year egging him on, telling him he had potential and should get the game, etc., but it seemed little was happening. Then out of nowhere, he started racking up PRs. Over and over and over again in the chat room, I witnessed first outbursts of "Top 30 time!

" then "Top 20 time!" then "Top 10 time!" I remember shaking my head in amazement. But then... he got a World Record. That's when I knew things were serious haha. He started pulling off win after win on me, and he climbed the ranks at an astronomical rate. I even remember mentally preparing myself for him to pass me and eventually challenge Seb. I remember consoling myself that #4 world wide is still an impressive rank, and if I got stuck there for a long time, there was nothing to be ashamed about it. xD
Chris, you and I have a separation in AF of just 1.5 points, of which .5 was only a recent cut I made this week. So you ended the year less than an AF point away from me, from first picking up the game in the same year. I think you are worthy of the POY, so you have my vote.
