Proof Request Thread

We'll use this topic, to ask players proof of times of suspicious players, if those they provide are insufficiant or inexistent. This will help keeping the legitimacy of the site at a top level.

I'll start with Flo, joining directly at #3 the site... without showing any proof of his times whatsoever.
Considering his shady situation in MKSC, where he left the site right after being accused of lying on his times, for an obscure reason, I believe he should comply to stricter constrains than other players, and, from now on, provide at least some proof for his strongest times, or else he should not be allowed on the site anymore.

As such, I decided to froze for the time being until we get something from him. If nothing changes by next week I'll remove him, though he may be allowed to join again if he clears up his situation.

If you have doubts about other players post it here and we times updater should do something about it.

I agree with Mick, we'd better be vigilant on fake times from the start.

Flo, what Mick said is correct. You have had troubles on the MKSC PP, where you haven't proven yourself legit yet, and you've joined at a top rank without any kind of proof. Therefore, you must show us something, because accepting you without proof would create a harmful precedent and because of your situation in another PP.

@Everyone: the more videos you make, the better it is for the community.

I still feel disappointed that you went through almost two weeks of playing the game solitary and relying on everyone else's video and strats and not posting a single time of yours, let alone a video, and then pop up at #3, it irritates me how most of us have attempted to further the game as a community, but instead up to this point you've just leeched off of all of us.

I have to confess that I'm really a noob in finding new strats and I didn't see the point of showing any vids of my times when other people had better times than me using the same strat... Undecided

I'm not even able to get a WR...
Last run was a Mick's strat attempt on RIW and I failed miserably with a 2'01...
He got 1'57. I don't see the point of showing a vid like this when I have such a bullshit time... And this is just an example among so many others... Undecided

Just told you, I'll try to make vids from now on.
Definitely need to work on BC, DKP, KC and WS...

+ haven't even unlocked the Blue7 yet.

I didn't know there were strings attached to public videos. Huh

You should be making videos because you want to share them with people, not because you expect people to do something for you in return. And if you're actually determined to "sell" strats (which I think most of us would find deplorable), making a public video is not the way to do it.

Though I just wanted to join right away with mediocre times because I felt it was easier to keep track of my times that way, find out which ones I should improve upon, ect.

Oh ya, what have you really contributed to this section so far? I really can't think of a damn thing. Flo's video is better proof than most and should be acceptable proof at this stage of the game's life cycle. Just because Flo is beating you, it seems you have a problem with him. Let's not forget how poor you are at mkwii, you really should have known it was only a matter of time before you started to slip down the rankings here. Stop being a egomaniac and a narcissist. Get your head out of your ass and wisen up.
