Just got a DKJ ghost of 1'58"584 by a Jap. Good thing for me considering this one isn't referenced on any site and I often struggle on this track.
Racing it now.

Edit :

Splits are 40"263 - 39"174 - 39"147
Combo is Metal Mario + B Dasher + Slick + Gold Glider (!)
Shroom at the last blue ramp.

Good ghost, almost PR while racing him on my third try (1'59"918) Shocked

Lucky first lap where I got 2 coins in the zipper part. After that great lap 2 I got extremely nervous and made a few mistakes but overall I held it up very well and managed the sub.
Very happy with the time Smiley

Now maybe I should try BC to score a Special Cup Grand Chelem Grin

yes, but it's shit i was triying to record the video with a new camera so i recorded the time and the laps and then i was going to record the run and i pressed try again so bye bye ghost run... it has no sence to upload that shit, i will try tomorrow to improve the time, i'm not using the same strat of the 1 14 8 video, i just learned a few secrets of this track, and if you put all those secrets in a single run u can do 1 13 9, but it's so difficult because the tricks in the waves are very random, for example in my last time i don't get any trick in the last straigh.

i said i would upload 2 videos of wr peer week, but this week the other track was cheep cheep and i don't have the boat kart and i was tired to unlock, so i just raced the course about 2 hours, learned some secrets that watching the boat wr can make it improve about 2 seconds, i managed to do a 1 38 0 with formula 1 kart and if some day i have that boat i will do the wr..

I tried the combo you suggested earlier today; the Blue Seven made sense, but I couldn't get anything decent with Mushroom. Like with the Soda Jet/Standard combo the Jap used, it gains some time in the water tunnel, but loses everywhere else. Every turn on the track can be taken tightly with Red Monster(admittedly my vid doesn't show this that well, especially the last turn of each lap), so the extra handling is not needed.

Perhaps some more testing is necessary, but right now the use of Mushroom Tires on this track doesn't make a lot of sense to me...

Still sucks, it's relatively easy to get 10 coins lap 1. Had too many wide turns and my shrooms weren't great.
