The MK64 and MKDD PPs have detailed guides. The SMK and MKDS PPs also have a page where some tips are given for beginners. Why shouldn't we do it?
There's no need for videos, I think.
Maybe we should make a thread for it (preferably sticked) which is direclty linked from the PP. The first posts would be reserved for the guide itself. People would suggest stuff to add and discuss in the thread.
The guide would have first a general section for tips which apply to all tracks or refer to the game's physics, (such as the OP of the strats thread, but more complete). Then obviously you have a section for each track's strats.
Now, each post has a limit of 20000 characters... you don't need that much to explain a single track. One post per cup would already be detailed enough if you ask me.

this. That's probably the most detailed MK64 guide anyone can do. It was written by a top player, mostly for other top players I think. The game has 16 tracks (32 if you count 3laps and flaps) yet he used "only" 6 posts.
Edit 2: I might have understood it wrong. To clarify, my idea was that the first few posts are continually edited, they may be created by the same person.
