It doesn't sound like he's using Lakitu though...he just said he jumps and lands on the other side. Unless I'm misunderstanding and he's using Lakitu pickup...

I tryed an RRM glitch possibility, but thanks to my natural skill (not good), I couldn't even do my idea. It is turning a very steep left at last glider (before you get there) and you will get on the blue and white blocks seperating you from the road and the air. Go to the point where the lap counts. Then go back. Shroom off. It might work, but I'm not a checkpoint master

Got a 24.717 lap 1 admittedly using two shrooms, but it'd be faster with one shroom too.
Thing is, doing it lap 1 sucks because you lose your shrooms, but lap 2 and 3 you can't use the glider, so I reckon that if it is faster in the end for 3lap, it won't be by tooo much.
Btw I had bad driving and didn't stay on the wall last corner.
Basically, after first pasta strat, point towards corner on the left, shroom, hop, and voila.
