^You need one star in every GP, don't know if they are faster than the red monster though, I only have the gold tires.

maybe a very small portion of the SC (the end i guess) that isn't covered by the shroom (so offroad)?

offroad stat gives -2.5 for the gold tyres vs +1.25 for the red ones.

Yeah, being interested in unlocking tires, which seemingly don't influect all that much (tires in general that is) and without having any real handling troubles at the moment, before continuing to working on a difficult sub is really stupid, hahahaha.

It's not like the posted time isn't possible with nicola's combo either so it's not even like he couldn't still be right (though i sincerely doubt it).

On a sidenote I just unlocked a new kart with same topspeed and acceleration, but better off-road. Also a bit harder to handle, but will probably also be better at the very least on a simple track like this one.

You don't think "go ahead and test it" sounded alot like you were simply throwing the idea off completely?

I saw that when you decided to bump in and basically tell me that I was stupid for questioning me working on hitting a record while not having unlocked the two fastest tires yet.

Calling it a troll is a classic way to try and take stupid claims back, and calling my question ignorant is simply dumb. You act like this is my first mariokart (not to say game at all), of course I know stats don't say anything and don't always make sense.

So... I was saying i'm gonna stop trying to TT something when there's obviously stuff worth unlocking and experimenting with first. I didn't say I would stop playing.

Then you came in and told me something obvious and indirectly trying to convince me that I should keep trying and/or that this stuff that I hadn't unlocked couldn't possibly better. Alright.

Not really interested in taking this argument any further, everyone can see who's right here.
